Katherine J. O’Neill

Katherine J. O’Neill is a seasoned financial professional with over 20 years of management experience in operations, cash management, acquisitions and divestitures, restructuring, planning and financing. She has been a management innovator and problem solver for large multi-national organizations as well as entrepreneurial ventures.

Ms. O'Neill's clients rely on her expert assistance in start up situations, making profitable acquisitions, crafting and negotiating strategic alliances, creating and evaluating marketing plans, and analyzing joint ventures. As interim or part time CFO, Ms. O'Neill has prepared and assisted in the execution of comprehensive business plans, devising effective financing strategies and ensuring adequate cash flow. Clients in a wide range of industries, from service and manufacturing to high-tech start-ups, rely on Ms. O'Neill's sophisticated consulting capabilities.

Prior to her 1990 establishment of a consulting business, Ms. O'Neill held several positions at SmithKline Beecham/Beckman and FMC Corporation. At SmithKlineBeecham/Beckman, she was responsible for corporate financial reporting, analysis and cash forecasting, analysis of potential acquisitions, development of integration and start up plans for new businesses, as well as reviews of product lines and multinational joint ventures. At FMC Corporation, Ms. O'Neill served in a number of financial positions in industrial and agricultural chemical businesses. She was an integral member of the management team participating in marketing, manufacturing and research decisions.

Ms. O'Neill, a Phi Beta Kappa graduate, received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland and an M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a National Science Foundation Fellow.

Currently Ms. O'Neill serves on the Board of the Forum of Executive Women and Advisory Board for Merion Mercy Academy. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Girl Scout Council, the Delaware Raritan Girl Scout Council and Health Maintenance Plan of PA, and was a member of the Steering Committee for the City of Philadelphia Strategic Plan. Other memberships include the New Jersey Technology Council and the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group.
