Prior to my current role in assisting small corporations develop business strategies to ensure successful growth I was VP Business Planning for Sperry, a five billion high technology diversified international corporation. While I succeeded in finally creating a system to bridge the corporate to division requirements and reconcile the Financial and Operational positions, your system, had it been available then, would have made everyone’s lives easier and the process much smoother. Overall, I am impressed by the program. Having taught Strategic Management and Planning at several distinguished Business Schools including the Wharton School and presented several hundred executive development programs in Strategic Plannong, I am fully comfortable in recommending Strategy Roundtable™. The content is there; your software design team has done a superior job of capturing the essence of Strategic Planning and translating it into a clear, logical, thorough, and usable format. Plus the support is there too. You do not place Strategy Roundtable™ in a company's hands and then let things progress as they will. You have a skilled team in place to lead a company through the whole strategy process to ensure that implementation is on track and on target as the strategic plan unfolds.

The Achilles Heel of Strategic Planning is implementation. Consequently, any contribution which offers greater or more effective strategy implementation success is welcome. Strategy Roundtable™ applies the full potential of computer networking to strategic implementation. The ability to track the implementation progress of a strategic plan without meeting the planning team to death is a real contribution.

Especially given my enthusiasm for Strategy Roundtable™, I must remind myself that this is superior software, not a superior strategist in a box. As a tool, Strategy Roundtable™ cannot be expected to perform better than its human masters. One should not expect Strategy Roundtable™ to compensate for various management shortcomings such as group think, drive by management, or head in the sand marketing.

Like all good software, Strategy Roundtable™ helps effective people be more effective. If the planning process at an organization is ready, Strategy Roundtable™ will serve the process very well. It just cannot wring an effective process out of thin air.
